Home Support Program
Keeping seniors independent at home
The County helps its senior community members remain independent in their own homes.
Our Home Support Program is focused on helping area seniors maintain clean and healthy living environments by helping with light housekeeping such as sweeping, laundry, dishes, vacuuming and dusting. This program also provides seasonal help with snow shoveling and light weeding.
Our Program Has Grown
Some towns and villages within our borders have partnered with the County to offer this program to their residents. Contact the County to see if the program is offered in your community.
Housekeeping services are provided by vetted, professional home support workers, and are tailored to each client's particular needs. Under this program, FCSS helps match a senior client with the right home support worker, and provides funding to make the required services available at subsidized rates.
