Bridge Maintenance Underway

The Public Works department has scheduled a series of bridge repair projects throughout the County between January and early March. A total of five County bridges will be repaired during this time frame.

Vehicle traffic will temporarily be diverted at the bridges indicated below during the repair work. Those who travel via the affected areas are advised to consult the work schedules and detour maps below. The County thanks drivers for their patience and courtesy while the repair work is underway.

Repair Schedule and Detour Information is as follows:

January 23 - January 31 - Division 7

Tributary to the Paddle River, SE-15-58-6-W5M
Bridge File 09891

A full bridge closure will be used at this site, with a detour as follows:

-north on Rge Rd 62 to detour to Twp Rd 583 via Hwy. 18
-south on Rge Rd 62 to detour to Hwy 654
-"Local Traffic Only" signage will be placed at the Hwy. 654 and Rge Rd 62 intersection

February 1 – February 8 (Approx.) - Division 4

A full bridge closure will be used at this site, with a detour as follows:

-east on Twp Rd 570A to Rge Rd 44 and then north or south
-west on Twp Rd 570A to Rge Rd 45, north to Twp Rd 572

-north on Rge Rd 70 to detour west on Twp Rd 592 and then north on Rge Rd 72 or north on Rge Rd 70 and east on Twp Rd 592
-south on Rge Rd 70 to detour west on Twp Rd 590, or east on to Hwy. 18

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
