Board Leadership: Governance Fundamentals 2017

Are you a board member of a voluntary or not-for-profit organization? Would you like to learn not-for-profit board fundamentals? If yes, Lac Ste. Anne County FCSS has an amazing opportunity for you (and your organization). This event takes place Saturday, March 4 at the MacEwan University City Centre Campus in Edmonton.

Excellent Learning Opportunity for Not-for-Profit Organizations

We will cover the $99 registration fee for one board member, from a limited number of not-for-profit organizations that serve Lac Ste. Anne County residents, to attend this informative one day session hosted by Board Leadership Edmonton. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided. Break out session topics include, but are not limited to, the roles within a board (Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer), policy development, fiduciary duties, strategic planning, recruitment, and managing conflict. About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
