Fire Chief Schroeder Recognized for Service

Lac Ste. Anne County wishes to congratulate Randy Schroeder, County Fire Chief / District Fire Chief for District 6 - Mayerthorpe, for receiving the 20 Year Exemplary Service Award Medal For Fire Service. A valued member of the County’s Fire Services team for many years, Chief Schroeder has recently been recognized on the provincial level for his selfless dedication to the crews he stewards, and to the communities he safeguards.

Overseeing the Firefighters and Cadets across the Service is no easy task, yet Chief Schroeder has managed to do so with proficiency and humanity year over year. Additionally, he has provided strong leadership and guidance, has expertly grown the service to its present state, and has lived and breathed the positivity and goodwill that personifies Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services.

Chief Schroeder, thank you for your steadfast commitment to the duties of Firefighting, and for your tireless dedication to Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
