Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services is asking all area residents to check their winter burn piles regularly over the next few weeks to ensure that, if burning is complete, the fire is actually OUT.
Lac Ste. Anne County, in collaboration with the Town of Mayerthorpe and the Kinettes Kin Club of Mayerthorpe, were pleased to present Station 6 - Mayerthorpe Fire Department with a joint use assistance vehicle.
The Fire season in Lac Ste. Anne County begins April 1st annually. Effective January 13, 2011, the County established a year-round permitting system. This means that AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR a Fire Permit must be obtained from your local Fire Guardian for ANY BURNING you would like to do.
Three Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services were promoted up the ranks during 2016, in recognition of their years of hard work, dedication and merit. County staff and LSACFS members wish to congratulate these individuals for their achievement.
Lac Ste. Anne County Council today signed a fire services mutual aid agreement with the Town of Onoway. This agreement is designed to strengthen the collaborative potential between Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services and Onoway Regional Fire Rescue, with the overarching objective of better servicing and safeguarding the community at large.
