The County's Agricultural Services department wishes to remind the public of the resources available to regional producers, or their loved ones, who may be experiencing undue stress.

 

Alberta Health Services Mental Health Help Line 1-877-303-2642

This toll-free helpline provides confidential advice and information on mental health services 24 hours a day. This caring, confidential 24-hour help line serves communities across Alberta, helping individuals, family members, concerned others and community agencies dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, suicide and other emotional or psychiatric crises.

The help line can be an invaluable resource for local farmers and ranchers who suddenly find themselves dealing with:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Emotional or psychiatric crises

Callers can choose to remain anonymous, and can get access to mental health professionals at any time of the day or night, seven days per week.

If you're struggling, please don't suffer alone. You owe it to yourself and your family to take advantage of this critical mental health resource.
