Lac Ste. Anne County is seeking interested community groups to perform roadside clean-up on designated County roads. The date for roadside clean-up activities will be coordinated with the selected groups.
The County will pay $200.00 per mile of roadway cleaned (both sides of the road must be cleaned). Participants must supply their own safety vests due to COVID-19-related safety precautions, but the County can provide garbage bags upon request.
Interested groups are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Public Works department indicating the name of your group, which division your group resides in, and a contact name and phone number.
Letters on interest for the clean-up program can be mailed to the attention of Julie Lalonde at the County administration office located at 56521 Range Road 65, Sangudo AB TOE 2A0. Alternately, letters can be dropped in the mail slot at the County office, or emailed to publicworks (@) LSAC.ca.
Please note that the County must receive your submission no later than Friday, June 19 at 12:00 noon.
