The Assessment department annually prepares, communicates and defends property and business assessments across Lac Ste. Anne County. Through fair and equitable assessments, the resulting property and business taxes support the essential municipal services provided to County residents and business owners. Lac Ste Anne County and its partner utilities provide safe, reliable delivery of water, sewer and solid waste collection services to multiple area across the County.


About Assessment & Taxation

To ensure all property and business owners pay their fair share of municipal taxes, The County conducts assessments each year that reflect the market value for property or the typical net annual rental rate for business as of July 1 of the previous year, as provisioned by the Municipal Government Act. Assessment notices are mailed each year in May. Property and business owners should carefully review their notice and contact Assessment if they have any questions or would like more information.

About County Utilities

Lac Ste Anne County and its partner utilities provide safe, reliable delivery of water, sewer and solid waste collection services to multiple area across the County.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and are available during business hours to manage accounts and services, process payments, and answer any water, wastewater, garbage or recycling-related billing questions.

The Solid Waste Management Department is responsible for processing recyclables, organics and garbage generated within Lac Ste. Anne County, via its waste management facilities.

There are eight transfer station sites and one Main Landfill.

The Waste Management Department also provides assistance and education to residents and businesses within region to achieve proper waste separation and diversion.
