Shaping Our Future: A Strategic Plan with Purpose
County Council Strategic Plan 2026-2029
Together, we are pleased to share Lac Ste. Anne County’s 2026-2029 Strategic Plan—a roadmap shaped by our community’s values and input, our shared aspirations, and our commitment to thoughtful, responsible leadership.
It will be the start of our commitment to being open for business, not just from an economic development standpoint, but as a local government open to and serving its community with transparency and accountability. This is what the community told us.
The plan is underpinned by four focused strategic priorities—advance responsible financial management; drive purposeful and meaningful economic development, enhance an enviable quality of life, and foster trusting community relationships.
These priorities will help us chart a course for the next four years and ensure we demonstrate action. The plan will be a living document. We will share our progress with the community through regular updates, adjustments and opportunities for input.

As the needs of our community evolve, certain priorities are successfully addressed or transition into new phases. In addition to our current focus areas, this page provides a chronicle of past priorities—such as our response to Administrative Office Deficiencies and the management of the Municipal General Election.
These records remain accessible here as a testament to the County’s commitment to resolving long-standing challenges and ensuring effective governance for the long term.
