Property Taxation Breakdown

Property Taxes are Due and Payable by June 30

Penalties on current taxes (not including the Tax Prepayment Plan) will result in a penalty of 6% of the unpaid balance of the current taxes, which will be added to and form part of the unpaid tax on July 1 of 2023. A further penalty of 9% of the unpaid balance of the current taxes will be added to and form part of the unpaid tax on October 1, 2023. Tax Prepayment properties do not receive penalty applications.

The revenue collected from property taxes helps the County provide the essential services that ratepayers rely upon.

Please contact the County Administration Office if you have purchased a new property in the past 3 months, to ensure we have your correct mailing information on file.
