Routine care of County-owned roadways
Keeping local roads safe and maintained is a primary County responsibility. The Public Works department provides engineering, operations and maintenance services for the township and range roads within our borders.
Regular maintenance of County-owned infrastructure includes road repairs, cold mix overlays, cold-mix patching, graveling, dust suppression, hydro axing, mowing, and winter activities like snow plowing.

Equipment/Contractor Registration
Closes January 31, 2024
In preparation for its upcoming winter graveling and construction season, the Public Works department is accepting registrations from equipment and gravel truck owners located within and having permanent residence within Lac Ste. Anne County boundaries. Registrants must have a business licence in good standing with the County.
Registration with the County does not guarantee work. However, you will NOT be called if you are not registered.

Snow Removal
ROAD REPONSIBILITIES
The Province is responsible for clearing all provincial highways. The County maintains range roads, township roads and subdivision roads. Public Works crews work to the best of their ability to clear County-owned roads under a variety of conditions.

SNOWPLOW FLAGS
Any property owner or occupant in the County can enlist the help of the Public Works department to clear snow from their private driveways following a snowfall. County-issued snowplow flags can be purchased at participating locations for $25 each.
