Below is a list of household hazardous waste that's accepted at Lac Ste. Anne County Regional Landfill and transfer stations. When deciding what to toss, check the label; products in the household that have potentially hazardous characteristics will display hazardous chemical symbols.

Waste Commission Partners with Green for Life Environmental

The Highway 43 East Waste Commission has partnered with Green for Life Environmental to begin a diversion strategy for dangerous and hazardous products like oil and paint. GFL bins are located at the Regional Landfill, and the Transfer Stations at Onoway, Mayerthorpe and Alberta Beach.

(GFL) recycles about 12 million litres of used oil per year, and close to 3 million kilograms of hazardous waste.
